Early Bird Publishing Enters Greeting Card Industry with Humor, Intellect
Cranford, NJ based entrepeneur launches two lines of humorous, everyday greeting cards and website.
Cranford, NJ (PRWEB) December 30 2003--Aimed at the millions of buyers looking for humorous greeting cards for all audiences, Early Bird Publishing today unveiled two lines, featuring more than 48 cards.
Founded by a former comedy writer for Jay Leno and Lenny Clarke, who later entered marketing and publishing, Early Bird Publishing’s greeting cards offer funny, intelligently designed cards that appeal to a wide range of demographics.
After completing extensive research, we were quite surprised at the large vacancy of funny cards geared for everybody. There simply aren’t many greeting cards that offer intelligent humor without being offensive or risqué,” said John Hartnett, founder of Early Bird Publishing. “Early Bird cards are witty and clean – and fill a large void in the industry.”
The lines were recently picked up by several sales agencies covering Delaware, Kansas, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington DC and Wisonsin. “I’ve been very encouraged by the response from reps in the stationary industry, particularly those who have been in the business for more than 10 years,” Hartnett said. “Their interest in taking on our lines substantiates the market need for more sophisticated humor cards.”
Early Bird Greetings offers two lines of humorous all occasion cards. One features cartoon illustrations and the other is comprised of photographs taken primarily during the early 1900’s in the American west. The photographic images reveal American life in funny ways that show its unique personality, history and culture. The cartoon illustrated line features Hartnett’s original designs, artwork and copy.
The cards are 5x7 inches, both horizontal and vertical, printed on ten-point coated stock and are currently available via the company’s Web site at www.earlybirdpublishing.com and select retail stores.
