Brides Seeking Unique Weddings Choose Commissioned Processionals Brides can walk down the aisle at their wedding to original music created for the occasion by an accomplished composer.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 3, 2004 – The newest way for a bride to distinguish her wedding doesn’t involve the favors, cake, or dress. The distinctive touch comes from the original music that announces her entrance and accompanies her as she walks down the aisle.

The bridal procession is one of the most emotional parts of the wedding. And though the wedding ceremony purports to celebrate the unique love between two people, most bridal processions share the same, tired sounds of a few common accompaniments. Couples who would prefer something distinctive are uncertain of what would be appropriate, and religious ceremonies often preclude the use of “modern” music.

Now brides can customize their experience with their own professionally composed processional. British-born composer Antony John began writing processionals five years ago as wedding gifts for close friends. On each occasion, guests approached him requesting music for their own ceremonies and he began to accept commissions. “These pieces are my art form. Each is unique and customized to the wishes of the couple,” says Dr. John.

The bride is a partner in this creative process, choosing the feeling she wants evoked as she travels the length of the aisle, and selecting the musical instruments for the piece. Dr. John can further personalize the music by incorporating themes from songs that have particular meaning to the bride. After the wedding, a recording of the music can be used in the soundtrack for the wedding video, and the musical score can be framed and displayed in the couple’s home.

Brides who cherish dreams of a unique and unforgettable wedding can now personalize the most memorable moment of all ... their entrance.

Dr. Antony John holds a Ph.D. in Music Composition from Duke University and a BA in Music from Oxford University in England. A former faculty member at the Seattle Conservatory of Music, he has also held teaching appointments at Duke University and the University of South Carolina. Dr. John has written music for independent films and his compositions and writings on music have been published internationally.
